Concussion and Repetitive Head Trauma Study

The Senate Community Affairs References Committee has just released their 187-page document which details findings and recommendations following a series of Senate Hearings earlier this year involving relevant experts and medical and sporting organisations on “Concussion and repeated
head trauma in contact sports.”

Earlier this year, an Expert working Group on Concussion, as part of the Research and Development Department within Football Australia’s Medical Department, which Dr Jones oversees, produced a Review Research article which was published in June this year in the international journal “Sports Medicine”.
